This post contains spoilers from the Season 7 finale. The “Dragon Pit council” in this season’s finale was conceived with one idea in mind: for Jon Snow to bring back a wight and prove to all and sundry the truth of the danger beyond the Wall. But showing off a wight wasn’t enough. And after a long tense stand off, it turned out Dany’s Hand was invaluable, as Tyrion convinces Cersei to join the war. Quite a few fans pointed out last week how harebrained the entire endeavor north of the Wall was. So harebrained in fact, one wonders whether or not Tyrion really meant for Snow & Co to return successfully, or if this was his quiet way of removing a growing distraction. Either way, it no longer matters. Jon and company arrived back, thanks to Dany, with the wight, and proved to everyone — even Tyrion — that they exist. But that wasn’t enough. Cersei was certainly flustered by the truth staring her in the face. But she was only going into this war if she was assured of having the upperhand once they came out the other side. With Jon keeping his promise to bend the knee to Daenerys as soon as his knees worked again, that was not in the cards. As far as Cersei saw it, she was giving up the Lannister army, and Jaime, to go fight something that would simply leave her more shorthanded when they got back to what she views as “the real war at hand.” Not good enough. But just as everything seemed to be lost, Tyrion stepped up. After all the bumbling and failed plans, he decided to listen to Dany, and proved himself worthy as her Hand of the Queen. Instead of doing nothing, he followed Cersei out of the Dragon Pit and faced her down in her chambers, knowing she could easily have him murdered. Not only did Tyrion’s negotiation instincts come in handy here, as he argued Cersei into a corner, but his drinking did too. Cersei who loves alcohol as much as he does, was not drinking. Combine that with a thoughtless hand-on-stomach moment, and Tyrion had the lever he needed to convince Cersei to agree to join the fight. Making sure the next generation of Lannisters would have a world to survive in. Looks like drinking and knowing things is still a viable way to live in Westeros. Someone pour that man a goblet of wine. He earned it.

The song “Look What You Made Me Do” is a noticeably dark departure from the upbeat pop anthems that we’re used to seeing from the wholesome star, but it bops. Naturally, the experts on Twitter just HAD to evaluate the singer’s latest musical endeavor, and, while doing so, some particularly savvy fans have noticed major similarities between Taylor Swift and character Arya Stark. Of course, as a result, jokes about Taylor Swift and Arya have consumed my timeline and, TBH, if there is one thing that could make Taylor Swift single release day better, this is it. Most of the fans picked up on one line in Tay’s song where she sings “I’ve got a list of names and yours is in red, underlined,” and immediately compared Taylor’s list to Arya’s hit list. Some people took guesses as to who might be on Taylor’s list, some people suggested Arya might kill Ed Sheeran’s character with Taylor Swift’s face, some are lobbying for the bop to be Arya’s theme song, and others think Taylor is more of a Cersei, LOL. One thing’s for sure, though, laugh all you want, but I wouldn’t wanna be on either of their lists.
Honestly, the comparison does make sense; it’s not just the list, it’s an entire persona. Taylor’s new era attitude is all about saying goodbye to the former, weaker version of herself and welcoming a stronger, harder iteration into the world; indeed, if there’s one standout line from Taylor’s new song it’s, “I’m sorry, the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now. Why? !” If that doesn’t give you intense flashbacks of Arya before she was a ruthless assassin, then I don’t know what will. All I know is this better not be Taylor’s way of hinting at a cameo because I swear I’m still complaining to anyone who’ll listen about Ed Sheeran’s guest spot. The HBO hackers are back, and they mean business. The so-called Mr. Smith hacking group that’s responsible for stealing approximately 1.5 terabytes of data from HBO just released what they’re calling the sixth wave of leaks — and it just so happens this data dump contains what they claim is the end to Season 7 of Game of Thrones. The confidential plot summaries and outlines appear to provide, in exact detail, just how this season will end. Mashable has read the confidential summary, but has chosen not to publish the explicit details in this post. We’ve also reached out to HBO who declined to comment on the new data dump.
HBO referred Mashable to its previous statement. “The hacker may continue to drop bits and pieces of stolen information in an attempt to generate media attention,” the statement reads in part. “That’s a game we’re not going to participate in.” The hackers have demanded approximately $6.5 million worth of Bitcoin from HBO, which so far has seemed at least partially willing to negotiate with the group. Apparently, however, that wasn’t enough for the Mr. Smith hacking group. “We know exactly what HBO and shoemakers around are doing now,” the group told Mashable in an emailed statement. “Unlike HBO, we never getting surprised. Pattern analysis of HBO’s silly hidden acts are as we expected. We eagerly waiting for Fireye’s report … tell them to hurry up.” The group is presumably referring to FireEye Inc., the cybersecurity company. Notably, according to The Hacker News, in 2016 some hackers allegedly breached the systems of an analyst working with Mandiant — another cybersecurity firm owned by FireEye Inc. But that’s not all the Mr. Smith group had to say. They also claim to have sold the entire stolen collection of HBO’s data — which they allege to total five terabytes — to three customers on the deep web. The group says that in doing so they earned half of the requested ransom. “By the way, we officially inform you and other hundred of reporters whom emailing us that we sold ‘HBO IS FALLING’s entire collection (5 TB!!!) to 3 customer in deep web and we earned half of requested ransom,” the hackers told Mashable via email. “We put a condition for our respected customers and they approved. We will leak many many waves of HBO’s internal stuff to punish them for playing us and set an example of greedy corporation.” For the Mr. Smith hacking group, this is apparently some kind of game. “Game of throne is over,” wrote Mr. Smith in an email to Mashable. “Wait for major waves!!! RIP HB-Old.” Read more: http://mashable.com/ The post The HBO hackers just leaked the end of ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 appeared first on TVShowVirals.com. from http://www.tvshowvirals.com/the-hbo-hackers-just-leaked-the-end-of-game-of-thrones-season-7/ After starring in Game of Thrones and a string of indie films, Ellie Kendrick is one of British acting’s rising stars. She’s also doing her bit to give underrepresented young talent a leg up. It’s not what you know, it’s who you know – and that’s particularly true in the film and TV industries, according to Kendrick. When it comes to going to drama school or funding your first short film, it’s also about how much money you’ve got. “I’ve worked in the film industry on and off for about half my life and I’ve noticed that the worlds that are represented on our screens by no means mirror the worlds that we see around us in our everyday lives,” the 27-year-old says. “Part of that is because it’s such a difficult industry to break into and often it requires huge financial support from parents or jobs. Or it requires contacts you’ve made in film school – which again costs a lot of money. “So it’s a bit of a closed shop.” Kendrick is known for fighting White Walkers and protecting Bran Stark as Meera Reed in Game of Thrones. She is speaking in her capacity as ambassador for Creative England’s Shortflix scheme, which is looking for budding young film-makers who aren’t in education, employment or training. Five successful applicants will get funding to make a short film, as well as gaining priceless contacts and kudos. The scheme has been set up to give opportunities to those from under-represented groups who have the talent and the ambition but not the foot in the door. “It’s a gateway to people who might not have the financial means or the industry contacts to break in to that industry,” Kendrick says. Shortflix launched in May and the first five finalists made short films about subjects including black gay dancehall culture in London, homophobia in an Afro-Caribbean hair salon in Sheffield and a suicidal young man in Bath. ‘A broader range of voices’It will open for applications again this autumn. Kendrick thinks opening up chances like this is “really going to improve our industry” in the long run. “It’s just going to make better drama and better films because we’re going to have more stories and a broader range of voices, and that’s always going to make much more interesting work,” she says. And British film could do with a bit of a shake-up, Kendrick believes. “Sometimes people are put off by seeing only white middle-class period dramas,” she says. “Not that there’s not a place for those. ‘Talent emerging’“But when those are the only things that are exported to a global market, we start to think that’s the only thing British film can do. And there’s so much more to it than that.” Creative England’s head Caroline Norbury added that the organisation was set up “to combat the challenge that whilst talent might be everywhere, opportunity is not”. She said they “work hard” to “make sure that talented people and creative businesses are connected to the money, the markets and the networks that will help them to thrive”. Shortflix enables “talented new filmmakers from diverse backgrounds to tell their story about their community and identity”, she added. As well as Game of Thrones, Kendrick has had roles in films like An Education with Carey Mulligan, last year’s Whisky Galore! remake, and The Levelling, the bleak farming drama that came out earlier this year. On TV, she has been in Being Human and Upstairs, Downstairs – all after her first starring role, in the title role in the BBC’s dramatisation of The Diary of Anne Frank in 2009. “So much of this industry is about knowing where opportunities are,” she says. “I was only able to become an actor because I happened to know someone who told me about an open audition that a kids’ agency was having. “If I hadn’t had that one person tipping me off, then I wouldn’t have been able to get into this industry. “Loads of it is about contacts, and it’s awful that that’s the case.” ‘Sense of entitlement’As well as supporting Shortflix, Kendrick has been mentoring a younger actress as part of a scheme run by charity Arts Emergency. She set up meetings for her mentee with drama schools, took her behind the scenes at the National Theatre and arranged for audition coaching with an actor friend. She wanted to make her protege feel like she had “an entitlement to the industry – that sense of entitlement that so many people who might have had a lot of privilege in their lives take for granted”, she says. Kendrick herself knows Game of Thrones is her biggest calling card, and made her “eligible”, as she puts it, for leading roles like the one in The Levelling. After Game of Thrones’ penultimate seventh season, she speaks proudly about how the dogged Meera has survived – with her dignity and integrity intact. Caring, sharing zombie killer“I really like that she’s a character who defies convention in terms of traditional representations of femininity,” she says. “We’re quite fixated at the moment with what we call strong female characters, but what I’d like to push for are complex female characters rather than ones who are just strong, and that’s their sole defining characteristic. “Not only is she strong – she’s also kind of vulnerable but she hides that vulnerability with the strength that she has to summon to survive. “She’s undergone an incredibly traumatic series of events but she still manages to maintain a calmness and a kindness and a tenderness, which I think is really laudable. “But also, you know, I get to wield an axe occasionally and kill some zombies. “So, all in all, she’s a pretty well-rounded character.” Follow us on Facebook, on Twitter @BBCNewsEnts, or on Instagram at bbcnewsents. “I was postnatally depressed but I didn’t know it,” she said, using the medical term most often used in the U.K. “I saw a doctor for the medical check, and I just burst into tears. She said I was postnatally depressed and I went, ‘Am I? Why is that?'”
Headey said she sought treatment and was helped, “but I did the first year [on ‘Game of Thrones’] in that space, figuring out motherhood and going through a weird time personally.”
“It was tricky,” she said.
Headey and Williams were chatting in support of the upcoming penultimate season of “Game of Thrones.”
HBO on Friday released new — incredibly vague — descriptions for the first three episodes of the new season, which will be titled “Dragonstone,” “Stormborn,” and “The Queen’s Justice.”
The network teased that the premiere would see Cersei, who at the end of last season ascended to the Iron Throne, try “to even the odds.”
When asked by Williams who she would like to see on the Iron Throne at the series’ end, Headey replied: “I think she’s already sitting there, isn’t she?”
“Game of Thrones” debuts July 16.

We don’t know about you, but that has us looking back at the series as a whole. For some reason (Kit Harington‘s butt), the finale made us think about all the many sex scenes we’ve seen and why some are so much better (Kit Harington’s butt) than others. So we picked some of the scenes which stick out the most and rank them. So which were sweet as Dornish red and which left a taste in our mouths as bad as a bowl of brown? Which… I can’t really help you with, honestly. But! Not all hope is lost! Because this Autumn, Kit Harington (AKA Jon Snow) will be starring in a new short series on BBC called .
The 3-part drama is about the gunpowder plot of 1605, which was an attempted assassination of King James I of England (that, spoiler alert, failed). In it, Harington will play Robert Catesby, the leader of the gunpowder plot and also Harington’s actual ancestor. Yep, Catesby is actually one of Harington’s maternal descendants. How’s that for keeping it in the family? Unsurprisingly, people are pretty stoked for the thriller.
Anyone else see the resemblance?
What about now?
Lol jk sorry. Anyway, it may not be as fun as watching him fuck his aunt, but it’s something. But definitely no Lannister Road Game of Thrones has sparked a battle at a Australian housing development where streets have been named after characters and locations from the high-rating television show. The developer of Charlemont Rise at Geelong in Victoria said he had been forced to change the name of Lannaster Road because of the link to the incestuous Lannister siblings from Game of Thrones. The name was knocked back by the developers next door because of the relationship between the Lannister brother and sister on the show, said the project manager, Gary Smith. I even changed the spelling to make it not as obvious. Lannaster Road will henceforth be known as Precinct Road. There have been no complaints about the other street names in the estate, more than a dozen of which were inspired by the show, Smith said. Among the names are Stannis, Winterfell, Greyjoy, Baelish and Tywin. The most popular, however, is Snow Street named after the fan-favourite Jon Snow. The only big mistake weve made was naming a small street Snow Street. We thought Jon Snow was going to be dead but then he came back to life in the next season, Smith said. Hes everybodys favourite we shouldve given him a large avenue. He said it was very hard to come up with new and original street names in a big city like Geelong. Youve got to think outside the box; we were getting so many names rejected. Thats why we went for Game of Thrones.
